In order to greatly simplify cabling efforts for high-performance servo motors, Beckhoff Automation (Burnsville, MN) has released the new AM8000 servo motor series. The main highlight of the AM8000 is the new single-cable technology, with which the power and feedback system are combined into one standard motor cable. Features include:
Six different motor sizes, each with two or three optional overall lengths.
A stall torque range of 0.9 to 65 Nm.
Modern salient pole winding technology.
