Maxon’s EC16 brushless DC servo gearmotor has a maximum continuous torque increased by approximately 80%.

Maxon’s (Fall River, MA) EC16 brushless DC servo gearmotor has had a number of modifications and improvements. Features include:

A 60° winding pattern.

A neodymium (NdFeB) high performance magnet.

A higher power output.

Up to 5 winding types.

Availability with hall sensors or sensorless.

4 high power motors are available: 30 or 60 W, sterilizable or non-sterilizable. 

A torque/speed gradient reduced by approximately by 60%.

A maximum continuous torque increased approximately by 80%.

Higher stability.

Quiet running.

Larger bearings.

Higher forces.

Suitability for demanding medical and hand tool applications.
