SAVOIE, FRANCE— Global chemical company Arkema and France’s solar energy institute are teaming up to enhance technologies for plastics in solar energy applications, such as photovoltaic panels. Arkema and the Institute National de l’Energie Solaire (INES) are establishing a mixed private-public research laboratory dedicated to the development of polymer materials for various photovoltaic module technologies.
