A new 12,000 m2 Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry, UK, has been officially opened following its completion earlier this summer. The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has reported the continued success of its popular PM summer school. This years event, the 11th PM Summer School organised by the EPMA, was held at the Fraunhofer Institut IFAM in Dresden and was coordinated by Professor José Torralba from the Universidad Carlos III Madrid, in conjunction with Professor Bernd Kieback and his team from the University of Dresden.
