China’s recent reduction in its 2011 export quota of rare earth minerals has caused great concern in many manufacturing industries around the world. China currently provides around 97% of the world’s supply of these minerals and recent reports state that the government will reduce exports by up to 35% in the first half of 2011. Rockwell Automation announces key personnel appointments

Rockwell Automation, Inc, a leading global provider of automation, power, control and information, has announced that its board of directors has elected two new corporate officers who will lead the company’s two operating segments effective April 1, 2011.According to the company’s announcement, Blake Moret is being promoted to Senior Vice President of the Control Products and Solutions (CP&S) segment, and Frank Kulaszewicz to Senior Vice President of the Architecture and Software (A&S) segment.
